Rob Katz is Group CEO of Peregrine (a previously listed financial services company on the JSE). He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1965. Rob studied initially as an accountant and completed his articles at Ernst & Young. In addition to qualifying as a CA (SA), Rob completed a Master’s degree and as part of his Master’s, Rob studied European Holocaust literature and has written articles and presented at Holocaust forums on niche Holocaust topics. He has interviewed many survivors of the Holocaust over many years on Zoom and in person. His particular interests are boxing in the Holocaust and Eastern European Jewish history.
He currently lives with his wife and two children in Johannesburg, South Africa.
